Tom yam (or tom yum) is a Lao and Thai clear, spicy and sour soup popular also in Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Most often complemented by the addition of prawns it can also involve additional chicken, or fish, or pork and the use of mushrooms or coconut milk are other variants.
Ingredients: Coriander, Garlic, Onion, Chilli, Galangal, Kaffir Lime, Lemon Grass, Ginger, Mint, Basil, Sugar.
